I am Bryan Ruzicka, born and raised in West Haven, Connecticut. Currently, I live in the vibrant community of Davenport and over my eight (8) years of living here, I love seeing how the location has blossomed and continues to enhance its economic development. Davenport is truly a beautiful and diverse place to live, and I cannot wait to see what direction the city moves in, next.

From an early age, I was always very creative, and as a result, I went to college to pursue a career in the arts. I graduated with honors from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theater.

Throughout my college tenure, I had the honor of being the President of the Crescent Players on campus, which was our drama club. My key takeaways from being a part of our drama club included learning how to be an effective leader, the importance of clear communication, and understanding how to solve a myriad of problems as they arose. These skills have been of great benefit to me throughout my career and have in part, molded me into the professional I am, today.

After graduation, I moved to Florida to work at Walt Disney World as part of their College Program, primarily within Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. A couple years and a few auditions later, I became a performer with the company and danced in numerous parades and shows on property. I had the privilege of opening various entertainment offerings in Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.Some of my favorites were Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far, Away, Mickey and Minnie’s Very Merry Memories, and most recently, the Adventure Friends Cavalcade.

Constantly learning and challenging myself are key motivators of mine. In 2018, I went back to Full Sail University and received a master’s degree of Fine Arts (MFA) in Media Design. I was also humbly recognized as the Valedictorian for my degree program. During the shutdowns in 2020, I decided to go back and acquire a second master’s degree (MA) from the University of Florida in Mass Communication with a specialization in social media.

As part of my creative interests, I have always been passionate about interior design. Combining patterns, textures, and colors to showcase the unique style of each customer excites me to no end. I got into real estate to take that enthusiasm a step further and help people with one of the most important steps in their lives, homeownership. I am now able to marry both my passion of home design and helping others.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family. Being in a theme park hot spot, you will find me visiting and spending a day in one of the parks. Entertainment and theater have always been a passion of mine as well, and I often check out any of the new productions and tours that come to town.
